On a London Underground train we are interned with complete strangers and rarely if ever talk. We become introspective and perhaps contemplate the faces around us. We may even fantasise. A young man is strap-hanging after a night on the town. He is pleasantly tipsy so his thoughts can be spoken out loud. His fellow passengers are musicians clutching their cased instruments...
