Throughout the course of his fascinating and diverse career, Richard Harvey has been involved with a remarkable variety of concerts. From touring the US in late 1974 with his folk band Gryphon, playing stadium gigs including Madison Square Garden, New York, to conducting and performing classical masterpieces with the Siam Chamber Orchestra in its highly celebrated debut concert in Bangkok, 2008, the range is certainly intriguing. Known for his expertise on an striking array of musical instruments, Richard has performed world music with a series of established performers, including guitarist Hucky Eichelmann, Mauricio Venegas and his folk band Quimantu, and of course the legendary John Williams, showcasing their shared deep interest and passion for the variety of musical cultures around the globe.
